Medical-grade PVC compounds
Medical-grade PVC compounds represent the starting point for all PVC products made by Hospital Tubing. By mixing PVC resin with plasticizers, stabilizers, lubricants, and other technical components, compounds are developed for extrusion or injection molding processes for applications in the medical and hospital sectors.
The formulation of plasticized PVC granulates is carried out with attention to material stability, workability, and consistent mechanical properties. The available hardnesses range from 50 to 95 Shore A, allowing the material to be adapted to the specific needs of the final product.
Formulations and regulatory compliance
Medical-grade PVC compounds are developed in compliance with the main healthcare industry regulations. By mixing the PVC resin with plasticisers, stabilisers, lubricants and other components we obtain our PVC medical compounds for extrusion or injection moulding, with hardness from 50 to 95 Shore A with formulations in accordance with the European Pharmacopoeia, FDA Class VI, ISO 10933 and the regulations for toys 2005/84/EC
